I have a vision
A vision of love
I don't know where it came from
Perhaps from above
Stripped from everything I know
I was forced to let go
It was my chance to really see
Who was, the real me
I found that above the lame thoughts I hold
There is something, really bold
It twirls and it dances
And it likes to take chances
Beneath this picture I show
There is a radiant glow
It burns and it pushes
Beyond the thorns and the bushes
Emerging flames of desire
They take me higher
Fear, a word unknown
And I never have to act grown
Innocence is seen through eyes like these.
And with such joy, there is no disease.
Ancient as the stars that burn
It is something you cannot learn
Twirl and dance once more
Take a walk along the shore
You will see a vastness there
Enough to raise every hair
And in that moment in time
Remember, everything is just fine
You do not have to struggle and fight
Just look at the light
You will see without eyes
The truth beyond lies
You are more than you think you are
You are a shining star
I am my vision
A vision of love
I do not know where I came from
Perhaps from above
It’s beautiful.
Thanks Sharon. I wrote that 3 years ago. I found it in my Evernote notebooks. I have stuff scattered all over. I think that should be a goal to set. Gather all my writings and place them in a central area. I have too many accounts with stuff in them. Google notes, Evernote, OneDrive, Dropbox, you name it. LOL 😀 Joe
That sounds like a good idea. I am in the process of doing the same thing so I can get it all copyright protected. then I am going to look for an agent.
Very nice. I’ll hold that energy for you.
Thank you.
Beauty from above.
Awh thanks Jacqueline. That’s exactly what we all are. 🙂 Joe
