Happy Ostara!!

Or better yet, happy misplaced Spring Equinox.

The Spring Equinox is the day where many ancient cultures celebrated the rising of the sun that will dominate over the darker days. From this day forward there will be more daylight and thus began the time of planting i.e. resurrection of the dead harvest.

Many ancient ruins were constructed to align with the equinoxes and solstices in a way to know when the earth was at an important juncture in the Universe.

Even Ostara is man made and we should just return to the facts and do away with all mythology.

This will eliminate all the bickering over what holiday it is and who is robbing who of their traditions.

For instance, if we just observed the spring equinox it would be the same day Universally and there would be no more conflict.  We could all return to celebrating the natural rhythm of the earths place in the Universe and not some man made stories.
