Black Or White

The words in this video spoke directly to my heart. I have the same beliefs.  I don’t believe we should be labeled black or white, or any other label you can come up with.  Seeing other people with the same beliefs, gives me hope.

We Are All Human

Working with developmentally disabled people, I learned not to label people by their condition. Harry, Peggy, Mary, or Sue are not autistic. They are people with autism. It’s sad to witness what some of these people have to endure. Almost instantly, these people are given the label dumb, awkward, or different. And, this is based solely on their prescribed labels, outer appearances, or mannerisms.  This should not matter.  We are all human!

Look At The Inside

This world is full of diversity and people forget that we are all different on the outside.  We could be black or white and it doesn’t matter.  What matters is what is on the inside, we are all the same. We all need to be loved, we all want to feel safe, and we all have dreams. I believe this world would be a much better place if we could do one thing.  Stop looking at the different kinds of cars we are each driving and start looking at the driver.
